A Paige of June Adventures:

Confidence, Campfires, and Family Laughs

June was a whirlwind of sparkle, laughter, and genuine connection—a month that reminded me why I love saying yes to new adventures and meaningful moments.

Judging the Miss Cherry Festival Pageant
Early in the month, I had the absolute honor of judging the Miss Cherry Festival pageant. Imagine a room filled with over 60 contestants, each radiating her own brand of confidence. What struck me most wasn’t the perfect hair or dazzling gowns (though, trust me, there was plenty of both!), but the focus on self-confidence over perfection. These young women stood tall, shared their stories, and showed us all that authenticity is far more inspiring than any crown. As a mom of four daughters, this experience made me think—if my girls ever wanted to compete, this is exactly the kind of empowering atmosphere I’d want for them.

We then got the official proclamation for Idaho that June 6th is officially Naloxone Awareness Day. To be able to inform our beautiful state and work along side Victoria’s Voice has left our queens with a warm heart and bright eyes for the future. Leading at Girls Camp—Fashionably Late!

Next up: girls camp! Life as a working mom means juggling a lot of hats, and this year, my work schedule only allowed me to make it for the last three of the four days. The girls gave me the “fashionably late” award, which I wore with pride! Even with my late arrival, I was able to jump right into the fun, lead activities, and soak up the energy and joy these young women bring. There’s something magical about campfires, silly songs, and late-night talks under the stars that fills my cup every summer.

Family Reunion & the Legendary Sardines Game

June wrapped up with our annual family reunion—a day packed with hugs, stories, and a game of sardines that will go down in Paige family history. If you’ve never played, sardines is like hide-and-seek in reverse, and let’s just say our family takes it to Olympic levels of silliness. By the end, we were all breathless from laughter and reminded that the best memories are made when we let loose and play together.

Reflections on Confidence and Connection

This month, whether cheering on contestants, guiding campers, or giggling with family, I kept coming back to the same lesson: perfection isn’t the goal—connection is. Real confidence comes from showing up as ourselves, fashionably late or otherwise, and embracing the moments that bring us closer together.
Here’s to more adventures, more laughter, and more opportunities to celebrate confidence and authenticity in every season.

June was packed with sparkle and connection! ✨ From judging the Miss Cherry Festival pageant (where 60+ amazing contestants reminded me that confidence > perfection), to earning the “fashionably late” award at girls camp, to laughing nonstop during our family reunion sardines game—every moment was a reminder that real joy comes from showing up as ourselves. Grateful for these memories and the people who make them unforgettable! 💕 #Authenticity #FamilyFun #GirlsCamp #CherryFestival #lifeadventures
